Christina Livada is Assistant Professor of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Christina has obtained her PhD from the Faculty of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2004.
In 1996 she obtained her D.E.A. in International Law (International Private Law and Commercial Law) from the University Panthéon-Assas (Paris II). In 1995 she completed her studies at the Faculty of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2000 she was awarded a research scholarship from the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law.
Her main fields of specialization are consumer protection law, company law, corporate governance and banking law. In this capacity she is the author of several books and articles in the abovementioned fields.
She has been member of the corporate governance working group of the Hellenic Corporate Governance Council for the review of the Greek Corporate Governance Code and a member of the law making committee for the review of the Greek law on sociétés anonymes.
